About This Journal

"That's God's way of punishing you" is what I tell my kids when something inopportune happens in combination with a (generally bad) behavior I wanted to their attention.

If they were acting out and something happened like they tripped, I would pronounce that as God's punishment on them.

It's an idiom we share to this day, and this journal may be more an example of irony than anything else.

I'm writing this as a private collection of my thoughts.
